Wisdom;The Principal Thing

Dominion
Luke 2:52 (AMP)
52 And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and men.

Jesus kept growing in wisdom. Now that statement baffles me, the assumption many of us would make is that because Jesus is the son of God, then He came as a full package knowing everything but according to this statement that is not so. Though He is the Son of God, He came to earth as a human. And He had to go through everything we go through in order to show us that its possible by the power of the holy spirit to walk in dominion. He had to acquire wisdom just like we have to and from the verse above we can tell that it was a gradual thing that kept growing as he kept working at it. He had to love knowledge and he had to be deliberate about acquiring knowledge that He applied in how He lived His life.

Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV)
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Knowledge brings understanding which then once applied becomes wisdom. To walk in dominion we have to walk in the wisdom of God. We have to do things according to His blueprint.
The wisdom of God is so different from the wisdom of the world. No wonder Romans 12:2 tells us that we have to be transformed by the renewal of the mind which comes by reading the word and applying Gods wisdom.
God says his ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than out thoughts. The wisdom of God is freely available to whoever wants it.

James 1:5 New (NKJV)
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Proverbs also tells us that wisdom is calling out in the streets for whoever but many reject it.The word of God is the wisdom of God on paper for us to read understand and apply and when we apply that wisdom the we walk in dominion.
