Accept Him

If you love Jesus you will accept Him.

ROMANS 6:23 AMP
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you were to walk around town and ask people “Do you love Jesus?” I can guarantee you most if not all will say that they love him. But how true is that? Do you love Jesus?
If you love Jesus then you will love what he stands for. The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but the story does not end there, after Adam and Eve sinned God did provide a way for us. As our key scripture reads, God gave us a free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus Himself made a declaration that no one else has ever made;

JOHN 14:6 AMP
Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through me.”

You cannot claim to love Jesus yet you despise and reject the very purpose he came for. The very first step in our demonstration of our love for Jesus Is to accept Him as Lord and Saviour over your life. Saviour meaning you accept the sacrifice he made on your behalf by giving His life on the cross and Lord meaning that you now live for Him.
Just as Jesus asked Peter He asks you and I today if we love Him. Remember talk is cheap and if you truly love Him then your life will demonstrate it.

To love Jesus is to embrace his message and accept his sacrifice making Him Lord and saviour over your life.

Those who try to save their life will lose it and those lose it for Christ sake will gain it.
